BTW - I told Katie: while certainly a challenge that beginners might enjoy, this Wally Miller plane isn't really an ideal beginner's model IMO.
It's the Pontiac Aztec of the Indoor world. My local Pontiac dealer used to display the Aztec with an optional tailgate tent that improved the truck's looks by covering up a significant portion of it. (I'm saying they are both butt-ugly)
I'm interested to see what kind of times we can coax out. It'll be embarassing if we don't beat Wally's kid.
Have I mentioned that this was my first Indoor plane (in the IMS kit version)? While I've had some success with other models, I never did get that one to fly. Time to face my fears.
