just relax, I make winders. 10-1, 15-1, 20-1, 25-1 with one-way ratchets,
locking mechanisms, 2-part shoes, and more.

Subject: [Indoor_Construction] Japan
I'd been in correspondence with Akihiro Danjo over the past week concerning
money transfer for a winder. I got myself hooked up with paypal, but Aki
said that the Japanese don't much like paypal and that he'd get some USD's
locally and just mail it as the mail is quite secure.
I e-mailed him yesterday morning just to see if he was okay, as he lives
just 4 miles from Tokyo harbor. He said Tokyo was mostly okay, at least he
and his apartment were.
Then the second big quake hit, and I e-mailed again, not really expecting it
to go thru. He wrote me last night at 10:58, that there would be a delay in
sending the money as things were confused there right then. Perhaps in a
week.
After that, nothing. So his winder is boxed, addressed, has the Customs
papers attached, and is sitting on the workbench just staring at me and
making me feel bad about him, and lucky to be only in Hurricane Country.
I would imagine that indoor flying is way down the list of priorities over
there right now.
