OSFilm is Alan Cohen's .5 micron polyester film. That's your best
choice IMO. Light, relatively tough, and - best of all - available.
I brought an old F1D to the PPCC the other week. It apparently had Y2K
or Y2K2 on it. The rudder from the PP I had mounted above it touched
the wingtip and made a nice rip. Friggin' a.
OSFilm is only a little heavier, and the added durability is pleasant.
