I use a couple of drops of shampoo as it comes out of the bottle, the green
herbal type.

Wombat is right on when he told us, "...soak
the knot with saliva before pulling it tight and lubing, rarely get a
break at the knot and it really pulls up tight. Anyone here do this?"
Yes, Neil. I've been using saliva for more years than I can recall, probably
learned from my old friend and mentor, Clarence Mather, when we both belonged to
a small model club back in Naperville, IL. I recall only one time that a
"salived" knot pulled loose. Breaks at the knot are seldom seen on indoor or
outdoor motors.
