I want to thank Don and the members of the Magnificent Mountain Men freeflight club for putting on the Pikes Peak Ceiling Climb last weekend. It was a wonderful time. The contest was run superbly, the site was wonderful, the air was great, and the Mountain Men were gracious hosts. The delicious cookies baked by Don's wife was icing on the cake.

There were four of us from out of state, and a number of out of towners from Denver. Bill Gowen, John Kagan, Tom Iacobellis, and I came from different corners of the country to join the fun.
