Or the luxury of dense air. Here in Colorado our site LPP record is 10:12 (Romash) under a smooth 37' ceiling. That's after eleven years of trying 3-4X a year! Also, Romash is only one to ever exceed 9:00, let alone 10:00.
Flashback: my best Cat I flight under 26' in Texas (500ft MSL) was 9:56. Still stands as a Senior record.

Okay then, 6.5 minutes. Although few of my low ceiling flights are below 8 minutes, I forget everyone doesn't have luxury of a smooth ceiling.
