Hi John and All,
Today I am happy to give you and the international indoor community the answer for
your question concerning the situation with the 2012 F1D WCh.
After a lot of efforts to solve the problems generated by the missing refund of
entry fees paid for the canceled 2009 F2A and F2C control line ECh events in Serbia,
by now we (the FAI / CIAM and the NAC of Serbia) have reached progress in the
refunding process. As a result of it, the disqualified Serbian events (12 for 2011
and the 2012 F1D WCh) are reinstated into their original status.
So, the 2012 F1D WCh will be held in Belgrade. The status of the 2011 events is
already corrected on the calendar, for the 2012 F1D WCh it will happen soon.
Best regards
Andras
(now having my CIAM officer hat on my head)
