O rings are tough. Usually do not break if new and fresh. Loops cut from Tygon
or other tubing are less strong, because plastics are not crosslinked like
rubber. Of course, test a few and if ok, go ahead. Indoor modelers go with what
works for them. Experimentation is what makes the hobby great.
