I don't know about command of the language, but it was fun finding that name. It was a nice fit for a record-setting F1D - obscure, with two appropriate meanings:
ei·do·lon [ahy-doh-luhn]
-noun
1. a phantom; apparition.
2. an ideal.
I like the name I found for my hour record model, too:
Safat - A mythical bird that never lands
There's a part about egg shells that cause insanity if eaten, which vaguely reminds me of my mental state after dealing with 46" of broken spars and bracing wire for a weekend.
