There are plenty of places to fly. Here is the contest calendar:

I count 15-16 indoor events. You fly gliders which get along much better
with the indoor electric planes than my F1D would. Just because access to
Tustin is limited does not mean there is not a place to fly. You can fly
your glider EVERY DAY at Lakehurst if you want. People forget that we have
excellent access to this site.
Please stop perpetuating the negativity, it does nothing to help.
