Hi Nick,
               May be you can define for me what really is prepreg. To my
knowledge it is TOW containing a resin that has to be heated to 100 degrees F.
in order for it to cure. If I am right then it is inferior. But I shall wait for

Hi Phedon,

Unfortunately you are wrong.

Test components constructed with pre-preg composites for the whole screw arm
assembly and also the main yoke of an F1D hub have been made by F1D modellers
here in GB and probably elsewhere. These show that very thin pre-preg is
extremely light as well as stiff and gives slightly lighter weights in
comparison to traditional balsa or basswood versions of these components.
