I have just built a 9" diameter prop for a No-Cal and am not sure how to measure the pitch. Do I need a different pitch guage for each diameter - can I use the same guage that I use on my 12" LPP props ? ? ? I know that for a 22" pitch I should measure a 45 degree angle at 3-1/2" out but does that hold for any diameter - that would seem to put the 45 degree angle awfully close to the tip ? What SHOULD I pitch a No-Cal prop at ? Thanks for any input LeRoy Cordes
