The lingering question about your comment is "what is the follow up with
the "ams" to keep them flying?" That was a push in my original message.

I think the Pro-Am event at USIC was a great idea. I wonder how many of
the Am participants have kept involved in indoor flying. I also wonder if it
might be worthwhile to consider a different model for the Pro-Am next year.
If A6 were used as the Pro-Am event then the Pro's could be flying
official A6 flights at the same time as the Ams are flying. Also, building a
give-away A6 would be a little easier than an LPP.
