I've had the balsa stripper from Dennis and Parker Tyson since April when I won it in the raffle at Tustin. As I understand it, it is fashioned after the stripper that Steve Gardner used to sell.

I'm slow to pick up new stuff and didn't use it until this week. Wow, it is really really great at cutting very thin strips with very clean and uniform cuts. I was stripping .015" thin strips from a 12" .030" sheet for EZB stab spars. Also .030" tall .010" stab ribs. Both cut very nicely.

Thus far, I've been using my trusted Master Airscrew stripper, which although a little clumsy, has served me very well. All of my light EZB construction has been done with this stripper.

But for very thin strips from already thin sheets, the Master Airscrew stripper is a little big and clumsy. The Gardner - Tyson stripper gives you very fine control of feeding the wood through the blade, as long as the wood sheet is large enough for your hands to control.
