Mark,
I actually think there needs to be MORE expert level events. How many
times can one build an EZB or Pennyplane etc. yes they do have their own
challenges but I think there is a degree of boredom in the same events
over and over and over. I have an F1L on my bench for about a year now
as I can not get excited over that event. This is one reason why I think
some "experts" cross over to "beginner events" it is something new to fly
