Aki,

So something on the model broke after you launched and the plane continued
flying?

Per the rules at the world champs, the model must "cease translational
motion" and be back in your hand within 60s for the attempt. I know this
because I got burned during one world champs. My understanding was that you
only had to touch the plane within 60s, but this was not the case.

When bad launching, for example broke a model when launching a model, must
we stop the model to get another attempt ? Or, is it OK only to declare '
attempt ' within 60 sec ?
I want to know the interpretation at the world or national championship
level contest.
I took part in F1D Japan National Championship last year for the first time
and heard that we had to stop the model to get another attempt. But I think
it may not be correct.

Good flying, Aki, will take part in F1D Japan National tomorrow
