Bill,

Great job! Modifying an existing high production scale is not only highly cost effective, but avoids some difficult problems, like overload protecting a clean sheet of paper digital torque meter.

Thanks,

I uploaded a couple of picture of the first production prototype of my new digital torque meter. The meter is 3" wide x 4 1/4" long x 1 1/8" high. Basic construction is 1/8" aluminum. You can wind anything on this meter that won't straighten out the .033" music wire hook. Theoretical maximum capacity is over 16 in-oz. You can also wind EZB, 35 cm, mini-stick or any other light motors with exceptional accuracy. A couple of details will be cleaned up on the next ones but this is basically what will be available.
