I don't glue to ribs except for dihedral ribs. I think Mark glues to all ribs. Whether it's untidy or not depends on how much care you use, how close to the ribs you put the drop, what size drop you use, what kind of brush you use and how much this sort of thing bothers you.

  Thanks, Bill, I'll give it a try. One further question, though: is the
  10:1 diluted glue thin enough not to make untidy smears of glue where it
  is dropped onto the film? For the outlines it will be cut away, of
  course, but not for the ribs....
