.003 Carbon unidirectional laminate is back!

As many people know the glider community became avid users of the .003" carbon laminate for indoor fuselages and reinforcement on many specific areas of indoor and outdoor HLG's. The source went away several years back. The thinnest carbon offering is currently .007", even though some claims to be .005". Stan Buddenbohm told me at the NAT's he was looking into a custom run of .003 carbon, I told him I was very interested. Well I just got word that the ship has come in!

Here is a quote directly from Stan:
"So I am now in the .003 carbon sheet business. This is the stuff that no one has been able to get for years and is what I use on my indoor cats, indoor TLGs and outdoor TLGs.

I am selling it in a 3.75" x 36" sheet for $32 plus $5 priority mail shipping. Any number of sheets can be shipped for one charge of $5

My supply is limited, not endless. I had to buy a fairly large amount at a high price or we just would not have it. The price of the material per model made is not much."
