Salutations Family and Friends,
Some of you may already know about the documentary that I am making along
with my Director + Cinematographer friend Phil Kibbe. We set up a page on
Kickstarter, a collective fund raising website about a month ago in order to
raise $3,000 to pay for filming expenses for the 2010 World Championships
for Indoor Model Airplanes which is taking place in Belgrade Serbia in
August 2010. This event will bring 100 of the worlds most eccentric people
together to fly the worlds lightest airplanes.
Today FLOAT is the Project of the Day on Kickstarter! This is great for us,
as the added attention is driving more traffic to our website and to the
project itself. We are only 4 days away from our funding deadline, and still
have to raise more money to meet our goal. Please take a few minutes to
enjoy watching the trailer for the film, and if you feel inclined, make a
contribution. If you do, you will get some cool stuff from us if you
contribute!
Most importantly, please help us out and tell your friends, enemies, family,
neighbors, pets about the project. The more you share the better chance we
