Vlad,
I use Duco for all indoor building, then I mix with acetone to get the
viscosity I want. The only time I every use plasticizer was to add some
DOP in the very thin/atery Duco/acetone solutions used for gluing
tailbooms together. I would add like 2 -3 drops to my glue gun (The
cylindrical guns from IMS with the hypo needle on top). This helped keep
the booms straight since the acetone ratio was so high. The DOP also let
the glue soak into the wood more so you have to apply a little more. If
you add too much DOP then you need a lot more glue to join together so
the weight goes up and drying time gets longer. I found 2-3 drops to be
the best that allowed straight tailbooms and fast drytime.
