Mark and Gary san,
The ceiling bumper is about 10cm long, 5 to 10 mg. Lighter one sometimes
breaks when bump hard.
It creates a series of stalls at power-climb phase, and tracks along with
normal flight attitude at slow-climb and cruse phase.
It is used to avoid wing sticking in air duct slots. The slots of our gym
are vey much fond of ministick wings.
I use a bumper on a A-6, too. Of course, it is thicker and heavier one than
mini's. Same purpose, but another gym. It is longer than mini's because the
air duct slots are wider at another gym.
