Nothing precipitated the following request except my own navel gazing. Please mail me privately if you care to answer.

 Do you think the below reply (to Brett, post 7926) is an aggressive tone? Not supposed to be, but sorta the way I talk and think. Sometimes I want to wear a "Indoor Citizen" hat apart from "Moderator" hat. Pretty hard to do. As well, the bare written word naturally defaults to severe-as-you-care-to-interpret, and even the little yellow smileys are sometimes just a permissive cloak.
