You guys shamed me into building a real box. Pics in the photo section.

Thank you to everyone who built a plane and is participating. This is going to be a lot of fun and, more importantly, has real potential to bring some new people into the activity.

The prizes that were formerly allocated for the raffle are going to be split between the raffle and the Pro/Am, so there is going to be some great stuff to win. Swag has been lined up from Peck-Polymers, Ray Harlan, and others.

It is interesting to note, however, that the Pro/Am is being limited by the number of "Pros" who are willing to step up rather than by the number of Amateurs we could find.

One of the top items going on the raffle side is the new winder from A2Z. I got a look at one during the Tustin meet – very cool (and surprisingly lightweight). If you aren't going to be at USIC, you might want to get a friend to buy some raffle tickets for you.

There will also be Team USA t-shirts for sale to help raise funds for the F1D team. I'll try to post a pics somewhere in the photo section.
