Usually I watch these threads from a distance, BUT...
If you guys want more kids at USIC....

For only this year, the AMA Education Committee is sponsoring a $5,000.0
scholarship for the winning two-person team at Science Olympiad Nationals,
Sat, May 22. We are doing this to celebrate the 12+ consecutive years of
running this event as it now leaves the rotation for 2 years. Here's the
OPPORTUNITY-

The AMA is sending a representative to give the scholarship award during the
overall awards ceremony and they get 5 minutes to have everyone's attention.
I am writing their speech. We, conceiveably, could announce the USIC
National Competition happening shortly thereafter. This happens in front of
5,000+ kids families and coaches! BTW, this also means that we need to have
an easy way for them to search for more info. Should this be considered?
SUGGESTIONS?

Regards,
Tom Sanders
AMA Ed Committee
