I just booked my motel for USIC thru Hotwire.com. With Hotwire you don't know the name of the motel until after you book it. This time my booking was at the Jameson Inn - the same as last year. My room last year was very nice. The rate this year is $222.87 for 5 nights including all taxes. This is a little over half the rate advertised on the Jameson Inn website.

  A few things...

I just noticed in my Feb edition of NFFS Digest that in the Master FF Calendar, I am still listed as
having a hotmail account. Due my own stupidity, it was hacked and shut down two months ago, and now I am only at carl.bakay_at_yahoo.com.

Some old references may still be bouncing around to ScientificDrilling.com, which was my work e-mail up until August. I am now retarded, er, retired, and that is shut down too.

Anyone staying in the Luntsford apartments during Johnson City USIC, please mail your room reservations off to me with a check or money order for $43 a night. Sharon and I will be staying there. These are apartments, not dormitory rooms. You will have your own shower/bath and toilet, and a mini kitchen, and and two single beds. Over five nights, this will save you about $100 over motels in the area.

Thanks, and looking forward to seeing you all there.
