In addition to the hand launch glider record, Ralph Ray broke the record for catapult launched glider. I'll let others chime in on the official flight times. I believe one flight beat the previous record by 3 s.
It was amazing to see his gliders *roll* upright to the peak of the hanger at 150', missing the top rafter by an eyelash and the side rafters by two eyelashes, then glide slowly to the finish.
