20th Annual Peach State Indoor Championships April 10 and 11
For those who aren't going to Tustin, please consider attending the Thermal Thumbers of Metro Atlanta Peach State Indoor Championships on April 10 and 11. The PSIC has been running for many years, but this will be TTOMA's first 2 day indoor meet. The flying site is a gym in a prefab metal building. The beauty of the site is that it is a maximum height Cat 1. At the 15 meter circle the height is 26'-2". The gently sloping (one direction) roof gives glider fliers a little
extra launch room on the high side of the building. Most hangups occur on the speaker boxes at the middle of the gym. We have a way of covering these with plastic to limit the problems.

The Thermal Thumbers of Metro Atlanta are hosting our twentieth annual state indoor free flight championship. We invite all AMA members, family, and friends to come and join the fun. The public is invited, but only AMA members can fly, so bring your AMA card. However, kids with indoor free flight models who attend can fly because we'll provide a complimentary AMA membership. Please note no food or drink is allowed in the gym, but a picnic area is available.
The contest is sanctioned by the AMA and all events, except as noted, will be flown per the AMA rule book as class A and category I. Registration begins at 8:00 am each day and flying begins immediately thereafter. The building must be clear at 4:00PM each day. Lightweights will be segregated from the heavyweights per the schedule below. Mass launch events will be sudden death with no kanones.

Fees:
The adult (open) fee will be $10.00 per day for unlimited events. The youth (senior and junior) fee will be $1.00 for unlimited events. Test and fun fliers will be charged $10.00 per day. Adult fliers are asked to bring a kit or something of real value as an additional entry fee.

The flying site is the Boots Ward Recreation Center at Lost Mountain Park in Cobb County at 4845 Dallas Hwy., one half mile east of the intersection of Dallas Hwy. (120) and Mars Hill Rd. (176).

Flying heavier models in lighter time periods must have CD's permission. This is never okay if someone is launching or preparing to launch a lightweight model.
Flying lighter models in heavier time periods is at flier's risk. Heavy models have the right of way. If your model gets shredded please don't expect sympathy or remediation.
