Don that has happened a few times in outdoor F1 events (no BOM) but you have
to remember that thermals make outdoor free flight a lot less dependent on
model performance, per se.

For those who may think my pass a plane around scenario in regards to
eliminating the BOM aspect of indoor is an "extreme" scenario, read this

It seems that passing a plane around is already happening in outdoor in
events with no BOM rule, I do not think indoor needs such practices.
