Ken
We don't have any posted rules for A6.

The rules Vandover sends out for his A-6 Postals state 1/32" wire Max. Bill, remind us what the TTOMA rules show for wire.

  Hi All,

I seem to remember that Clarance Mather at one time said that the 1/32 bit was printed backwards - it was supposed to be maximum, not minimum and he felt that bending anything thicker would be very difficult for beginners.

Chris Borland - Sacramento (While we're at it - WA6SBY and code was hell!)

Some interesting points about these original rules:

There is no specification for the covering other than the first line that says "no special indoor materials". So a purist definition of an A6 would allow grocery store bags or anything else that wasn't a "special indoor material".

The requirement for a 1/32" prop shaft has been ignored for as long as I've known about A6.

A Harlan bearing like I use could definitely be called a "special indoor material".

  And Gary:

As I posted somewhere else (I think) I had 80 mg left for a tailboom on my A6 so that's what my 10" boom weighs. It's really scary to see in action but except for breaking 7 or 8 times it has worked really well.
