I PMed you a week ago about the Mather article, which I still haven't found yet, but have it somewhere. Although the Mather A6 rules are in that article, that's not what is necessarily used today. Look in Files section of InCo--accessed on left of message board. Look for file "A6 National rules." Another common set is USIC rules, very similar, and probably more used.
Part of the fuss is due to lack of official rule set, but of course every rule set is official in the contest it is used. Within any one club, none of this matters much.
