It is my OPINION that the main (only?) reasons to have A-6
recognized by AMA are to give legitimacy to a popular orphan
stepchild and to consolidate the various EXISTING informal
versions of the rules into a recognized standard.
Having accomplished that, steps to revise the rules and
practices can come after a period of experience IF revisions
are deemed necessary.
The advice for trimming a model applies. "One change at a time!"
