Yes, I stand corrected about the consensus of a tail area rule (rather, lack of such rule.) I recently heard of a rule set having this, but not a major contender rule set. Apology to Bill Gowen, too.

Seems there is no consensus about what rule set is "official" although the substance of most rule sets is similar enough to not disqualify anyone's model in a different contest. (?) Obviously every rule set is official in the contest it is used.

So, the AMA proposal would ironically create "no consensus, but yes, official" situation. Agreed there?
