I've had an email exchange with Don Deloach about the covering rule. Don is also in favor of lifting the Mylar restriction. He is investigating modifying the rules proposal.

  The original idea behind A6 was not only easy of construction, but ease for a newcomer to obtain all the materials for the model in an average local hobby store. Tissue wasn't hard to find, even Sig Superfine. Today, a similar hobby shop-only indoor model would be. Would be. Uh...I'm thinkin.
