Why "dag-nab-it" Jim,

I thought I was the only person that happend to; and on my very first Pennyplane too... What I did was,

I bought the metal straight edge real close to the spar and rested the tool against it, sort of used it as a heatsink/guide. I got a tiny overlap in a couple of places, but I'll just have to live with that.
