I just deleted one of my messages, since the reply displayed my full name instead of my usual handle--Mark F1diddler. (Sorry for the repeat to those configured for email delivery.)
Anyhow, if you reply to Ind_Const directly from Yahoo inbox, the reply displays your (my) full name if Yahoo has it, which then defaults to web page display. Didn't realize that--not nice, IMO. I then poked around my profile and found a blurb that said "Full name is displayed only to Yahoo Connections." So far, I have not accepted any "connections" which I had thought were Yahoo's answer to the "track this friend" trend that many social sites do. So maybe a "connection" to Yahoo is now anything that ends up in your inbox.
Only thing I could do was to remove full name from my Yahoo profile. Your miles may vary.
