F1M is the "beginners F1D". In a nutshell

max span 460mm
min weight 3.0g
max rubber weight 1.5g

The limited rubber weight, together with no fuselage length limit leads
to a long-fuselaged model with a light wing loading, thus it flies much
more like a mike ship than e.g. a pennyplane does.
