Good morning, Mark: Suppose mentoring the local high school for "punkin
Chunkin" competition counts as "different". This consists of designing,
building and tuning a falling weight trebuchet to throw a 10 lb pumkin
to maximum distance and accuracy - shooting at a fake castle. Our
average throw was over 300 ft this year, good for second place out of 17
schools at the competition.

I usted to do wright stuff and mini trebs for SO but the school dropped
out, now we compete in building small wind generators.

Beyond that, model related is "tuning" my Dennydart design and supplying
8-) kits or built ones to tweeners, also the local hospital for kids to
build. Also actually sell some !! And once in a while running off a
batch of balsa strippers.

History, been retired for 16 yrs, used to run a small beef farm, now let
the neighbors use the land, mostly trying to keep this 175 yr old house
working. :-(
