Andrew asked me to pass on the latest information regarding the Kibbee Dome. The official dates for 2010 will be July 2nd (Friday) through the 6th. He is awaiting the contract to set the fees for this year. A change this year will be the non-availability of helium, at least at this point. At the last K.D. (2008) Andrew took a major bath on the helium and he is looking for a solution for this where he himself will not have to handle the helium. Something will probably be worked out. Andrew also said that the new wall should take care of the often irritating "wind tunnel".
The West wall is finished and work is to commence on the East wall in 2011, meaning no K.D. in 2011. Funds are being raised for this and they would also like to install luxury boxes at the same time. They do have to get the wall done even if the boxes are not done at the same time but first, the funds have to be there to do anything - stay tuned.
