Folks, please forgive me if this topic has been discussed already as I have been away for a while. Science Oly this year is doing a Helicopter event for max flight duration. A little research on google yields the "Wright Bat" and "Jim Walkers's Ceiling Walker", but not much more than that. Hard to locate any plans. I looked thru my Indoor Flying Models book by Lew and there is some reference to Dick Obarski's 1938 model, as well as Lew 1980 and Tom Valiee (corkscrew). I guess I'm asking if any of you all have any experience in building / designing / flying indoor helicopters. Usual rules of wood and paper, total mass 5.0 grams, up to 3 fixed pitched rotors max dia. 30 cm. each. No max number of blades or their cord. Motors - 2 gram max. Any plans out there? Thanks...
