Max does have some points I agree with amidst his rambling, profanity laden diatribe :)

We *are* an odd group. Has anyone other than me looked around an Indoor FF meet, though "damn, everyone here is whacko", and then realized "hey, I'm here, too"?

Also, in our efforts to grow we need to decide if we are trying to attract more people like us who enjoy the challenge of Indoor FF, or do we want to change Indoor FF into something that has "mass appeal", but probably less appeal to us.

I prefer the former, knowing full well that if we go that route Indoor FF will never be as popular as baseball or roller derby. It will always be a "percentage game" – only a small percentage will take up the challenge, so we need to expose as many people as possible to get a decent number.
