This was exactly my experience in California. I got to demo LPP in every classroom I entered (about 500) but could not convert it to any afterschool gym session. The principals acted nice enough, but I couldn't convert, given the legitimate obstacles, especially "use priorities."

Probably the untapped potential in USA is church facilties. But you may have to provide "modeling as ministry" in a sense, to maintain access. Not a bad deal if you have time and lots energy.

Yes, at our CA SO Regionals, Chris Borland always had a handout ready to give, containing info resources.

<< I agree that when a civilian comes into an indoor freeflight site they are awestruck. How long they last and the degree of their involvement may hinge on the first few minutes of their arrival>>

Yes, and way, way better than any brochure is to put a used model in their hands. Many of us have a beater LPP which would fly for 2 or 3 minutes in anyone's hands. THis is one key to local growth. Then local growth will naturally feed into national site maintenance.

Please read post #5616, Feb 1, 2009 for an obviously excited example of indoor model loaning. It works every time. Whether or not they stick with it is another matter. There is no way to get around "paying dues" to achieve indoor satisfaction, and I am becoming the natural enemy of anyone who wants to make it all so Ever Easy For The Masses. RTF RC already exists for that.
