We never met but I have read some of your posts thru the years with interest..I confess that I entered the Bipe towline at the USIC this year and wish to answer your questions. The rules specify a Length ,Chord , Span and weight but nothing about the intention of the original rule .Something I know nothing about I had no idea of what the intention of the rule was .So unless a Biplane is outlawed for next year I will fly it again because I see the potential for better time .I only had 4 flights this year and I feel with more practice it would have done better our last time was 2:45 but it was unofficial feel the model has a potential of 3:45-4:00 minor more The trick is a good tow and good release.I thought it was a fun event even though my plane was heavy at 4 grams
.I'll have a purpose built Biplane next year ;-)

I found BIPE towline gliders at USIC (thanks for report, Kagan-san!).
I know bipes are legal in USIC rules, but do bipes meet the intention of original rule?
Will USIC rules be accepted widely?
  Good flying, Aki
