I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I will always remember how enthusiastic he was about flying well into his 70's.
You and I were both lucky to share our hobby with our fathers, I can certainly relate to what you are going through. You will find that flying becomes a way of celebrating your fathers influences. I sure felt like dad was watching me at Johnson City this year.
Our thoughts go out to you and all of your family.
