I have found that it is better to just download the NatNews files
and save them on to the hard drive (for windows, just right click
on the file url and then left click on "save target as...").
A plus to this method is that you can read the news offline.
The problem is not with the acrobat pdf files themselves but
appears to be with the AMA server. BTW, the NatNews files
themselves are PDF version 1.4 which can be read with Acrobat
versions 5 and newer.
