Bill, you must have been reading my mind. I just got a "40 footer" and
was wondering how they actually fish with them. The video was quite
informative.
I also share your concern for pole abuse. I let nearly anyone use my
fiberglass pole but will probably become the "retrieving guy" with the
carbon fiber.
