Was it Hack, or the Cardinal, who smeared plasticized glue and non-plasticized on thin sheets that showed (or didn't) the difference in warp and twist shrinkage in the glue had?

I know that non-uniform glue application can cause havoc due to disproportionate shrinkage. Plasticizer in dope definitely reduces shrinkage in tissue.

I still drip some TCP into thinned glue, when I think of it. Have not noticed adverse affects.
