Seriously, when I ran out of the Formula 2000, and started using shock oil that was given me, the biggest difference I noticed was how my hands reacted to each.
F2000 was dry smooth (anti-dessicant), similar to talc with all the rough edges sharply noticeable, and extremely irritating. Washed my hands constantly, and my eyes burned all the time. Shock oil was "wet" smooth and I had to remind myself.
When he gave the oil to me, Chuck Dorsett said it was recommended to him. I think it is all the same, except viscosity. I will need to do some tests (time dependent) to check longterm reaction of rubber to the two lubes.
