If you want a quick, and usually a pretty accurate, idea of the rubber width
try multiplying the grams/inch figure for the rubber by 1.5. Taking the
first motor mentioned in Gary’s post which was a 14.75” long loop weighing
0.8 gram; the rubber length is 29.5” so divide 0.8 by 29.5 which gives
0.0271 gram/inch, multiply this by 1.5 and it gives a rubber width of just
under 0.041 inches.
