Hi All,
   Had 9 eager flyers on Saturday at our first contest in Rockledge.  Go to:  <groups.yahoo.com/groups/floridaindoorfreeflight> to see pictures of the site.  We had 7 in the Hanger Rat mass launch event won by Bill Carneys son Steven with a flight of 2:10.  He is also into SO so watch out for him... Second with a 2:00 flight was Rolf Svensson. and I was third again... In the fanthom Flash mass launch we only had three with Henry Hill the winner followed by Jerry George, Bill Carney and me last again.  THree could not make the flight due to crashes that left the ships unrepairable.  Jerry had a neet P38 partly nocal. I say that as the fuselage had half shell to stiffen the booms.  Was heavy and hit all the walls but didnt break.
   Next event is March 21. 
   As a side note Jim Bradely a Wakefield flyer stoped by and spent 2 1/2 hrs talking about the event with us.  He said as he was leaving "you guys look like you are having so much fun I might build something for next month"  He is the President of the Florida Modellers Association and its my hope he asks others in the club to build and fly with us.  There club is mostly Outdoor free flight but only fly a few times at Palm Bay.on the 5 1/2 by 3 mile field that has roads through out the field but no houses.  What a flying field.!!!!
